Sralbog is a picture book for adults
The idea for this story came to me on a flight back from India. It didn’t take long to write. And it hasn’t changed much in the editing process.
Obviously, it’s too dark for children. So here it is. Enjoy! – Azim
An experiment with AI.
The Sralbog is also an experiment with AI and image generation is particular. I seeded GPT5 with the following illustration from my book, Donutland, as a guide to my style. Then, I spent a couple of days chatting with it, generating the illustrations for the book.
It was a fascinating experience as you can see from the illustrations themselves and the variability between them. I will post more details on the interaction and my thoughts on the impact of AI on “art” once I have collated and ordered them.
